So, we’re going to a Jazz Festival – Info for new parents of Jazz Students.Info here

  • March 1st (Thursday) – Chicago Trip Rehearsal. Concert Band Rehearsal (Rythm, Florentiner): 3:00pm – 4:00pm
  • March 2nd (Friday)- CSUF Wind Ensemble Festival – Schedule Here

    1. Every year a committee of volunteers puts in countless hours to make Big Band Blowout a successful concert and fundraiser. 
      There is a lot of organization going on behind the scenes and we need 
      YOU to SELL at least TWO ADS per family by March 9, 2018. Ad pricing is attached.
    2. We NEED wide participation to make this work. If you have a contact or lead you do not plan to pursue yourself, let them know that we will be calling and send the contact information to me, Sharise Norrbom (contact info in email) or  bigbandblowout@gmail.com
    3. The PAYOFF for you?……..When you sell an ad, 50% goes toward your child’s travel expenses for the Reno Jazz Festival!
      We will keep our annual performance donation amount as low as possible for next year and you get to play a role in keeping the standard of excellence growing at the EEU!
    4. Please place your ad forms with the required payment(s) in the Everything Box in 
      an envelope marked “BBB Program Ad” in the band room no later than March 9, 2018. Also, please note in the memo section of all checks with your student’s name 
      so we can keep track of who has paid for their ad and credit your students account accordingly.

One half of the rebate is deposited into the general EEU (Esperanza Entertainment Unit) account and one half goes directly into your son or daughter’s individual band/color guard account. 

The money earned can be used to pay for performance donations, color guard fees, jazz trips like Reno, banquet, logo wear, etc.

Scrip is a gift card for retail outlets, grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and fast food establishments.  You can order the hard plastic cards or use Scrip now which is an email version of the scrip.  You will be surprised at how many different choices there are.
